Work & passion projects
Things I've made, studied, and obsessed over.
Engineering projects, school work, self-initiated experiments, and the pursuits that don't fit on a resume — but probably say the most about who I am.
Research & engineering
Bio-based coating study
Speculative outerwear material system exploring algae-derived coatings, durability testing, repairable trims, and weather protection without petroleum-heavy finishes.
Mycelium thread plant model
Full process design and modeling for a mycelium-based thread manufacturing plant — material inputs, reactor design, scale-up constraints, and economic analysis.
Making & craft
Material-to-garment archive
Designing and sewing my own clothes from scratch — deadstock fabric, pattern experiments, fiber behavior notes, and real-world wear testing. Every piece starts with what the material wants to do.
Beyond the résumé
Sound & culture
DJing in Boston's big rooms
Performed at major venues across Boston as part of Big Night Event Group. DJing is a live design problem — reading a room, engineering transitions, and pacing energy over hours. You're making decisions in real time with no undo button.
Movement
A training program built like a product
Designed my own strength training system from the ground up — testing protocols, tracking recovery, adjusting based on feedback. It's the same methodology I'd apply to any product development problem: build, measure, iterate.
Travel
Moving through the world intentionally
Avid traveler and student of place. Travel sharpens observation — noticing how materials, systems, and cultures are put together differently somewhere else. It's one of the fastest ways to expand what you consider possible.
